1940s Work by Day/Swing by Night Dress

If you've seen Pearl Harbor, you'll drool over this dress. A very vintage piece by Miss 5'4", this lovely is peach and details are brown, white and blue. Adorned with fans, gloves and masks, the masquerade motif shows the original owner loved mystery. Short sleeved with a side zip and gathered at the side and shoulders for a typically World War II era look. A full slip is a must with this nearly see-through number, unless you're a very daring girl next door. Accented with amber celluloid buttons at the neckline. Perfect for a theatrical or film production. 36"x24"x36" Condition: Fabric is worn in some places, but no holes. Large but light stain on right shoulder (not even visible in photo) and some smaller stains on front. At back of neck, where tag is, is starting to come apart (about 1") and needs darning to prevent further damage if you plan to wear it. Click photo to see close-ups.
